A look inside Body Explorer 3D.

Body Explorer 3D interface
A structure picked out of the muscular system, named and defined, with the system list and hierarchy tree either side.

Everything Body Explorer 3D brings to the table.

🫁

Nine Systems, All Loaded

Skeletal, muscular, joints, cardiovascular, nervous, visceral, lymphoid, muscle insertions and body regions — toggle any system on or off and fade it to any opacity to see what sits behind it.

🎯

Click Anything, Name Everything

Pick any structure with the mouse and get its correct anatomical name, laterality and a full written definition — 3,820 of them, drawn from Wikipedia — with the hierarchy tree highlighting where it sits in the body.

🔎

Search, Isolate, Focus

Type a structure name to jump straight to it. Isolate hides everything else, and the camera smoothly frames whatever you select — even tiny structures buried deep in the body.

🔪

Cross-Sections

Slice the whole body on the sagittal, transverse or coronal plane and sweep the cut through with a slider, so you can see internal relationships the way an atlas plate would show them.

Male and Female

A sex toggle swaps between male genitalia and a placed female reproductive set — uterus, cervix, vagina, ovaries and fallopian tubes, each named and defined.

📦

Import Your Own Models

Bring in your own or purchased GLB, FBX or OBJ models alongside the atlas — they keep their own materials and textures.
