Nothing you do reaches us.
Every Inspire Arts app runs on your own device, or on a server you host yourself. We run no service that holds your data, we show no ads, and we include no third-party analytics or tracking. Three apps do send data somewhere by design, and only ever where you point them: StreamHub broadcasts to the streaming service you choose, Device Seek reports location to the server you run yourself, and Hey Spot can pass a question to an AI service if — and only if — you supply your own API key. None of it passes through Inspire Arts. The table below spells out exactly what each app does.
The people behind the software.
Inspire Arts Software is the software arm of Inspire Arts, an independent studio. For any privacy question, or to ask us to delete data an app of ours holds, email ukmd001@gmail.com.
What each app accesses.
Our apps fall into a few groups. This is what each group does with data.
| Runs fully on your device — no data collected | Wave Studio Plus, WIN TONE, AudioViz, Capture, PC PicDraw, PicDraw Grid, PC Pro, Body Explorer 3D and the Digital Clock Screensaver all run entirely on your own machine. They open files you choose and save output you ask for. None of them create an account or send anything to Inspire Arts. |
| Camera & microphone (used live, on your device) | AudioViz and Capture use your microphone or system audio; Wave Studio Plus and WIN TONE record from your microphone or your PC's own audio output; PicDraw Grid uses the camera to show your reference photo. This audio and video is processed live on your device and only saved where you ask. |
| Voice commands (Hey Spot) | Hey Spot listens for its wake word and transcribes your commands on your own machine, using a speech model installed with the app — that audio never leaves your PC and is not recorded. If, and only if, you add your own API key for a third-party AI service, questions it cannot answer offline are sent as text to that service under your own account and its privacy policy. Leave the key blank and nothing is ever sent. |
| Location (Device Seek) | Device Seek is a location tracker you host yourself, and every device shares only after opting in through an invitation link, with a visible “sharing location” banner on screen throughout. Location, battery level and history are stored in a database on your own server — they are never sent to Inspire Arts and we never see them. You can revoke a device or delete its history at any time. If you choose to add your own Google API key, map tiles and network-based lookups go to Google under your own account. |
| Files you create stay with you | Capture saves recordings as MP4, Wave Studio Plus saves audio projects, and PicDraw / PicDraw Grid save image copies — always to a location you pick on your own device. Nothing is uploaded. |
| Streaming to a service you choose (StreamHub) | StreamHub sends your live video and audio to the streaming destination you configure (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook or a custom RTMP server). That stream goes directly to your chosen service under its own privacy policy — it never passes through Inspire Arts. |
| System information (PC Pro) | PC Pro reads local hardware and performance data to monitor and optimise your PC. That information stays on your machine and is never transmitted. |
Why an app might ask for access.
Camera — to display your live reference view (PicDraw Grid). Microphone / audio — for recording, audio features and voice commands (Wave Studio Plus, WIN TONE, AudioViz, Capture, StreamHub, Hey Spot). Photos / storage — to open the images you pick and save copies you ask for (PicDraw, PicDraw Grid). Location — only in Device Seek, only on a device that has opted in through a share link, and only to your own server. You can decline any permission in your device settings; the related feature simply won’t be available.
None. Really.
We do not display advertising, we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone.
You stay in control.
Because everything our apps handle stays on your own device — or, for Device Seek, on the server you host yourself — you can delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data, removing your files, or dropping the Device Seek database. Where the UK GDPR / EU GDPR applies, you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data and to object to its processing; contact us and we will help with anything within our control.
If this policy changes.
We may update this policy as our apps evolve. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted here.
